Wes Hunter is a tenor, but asks that you please not hold that against him. Originating his musical journey on the French horn and piano, Hunter ultimately established himself as a sought-after soloist, choral/ensemble singer, and church musician in the Washington, D.C. and Boston areas. He studied voice at both the University of Maryland, College Park and The Boston Conservatory where he received a BM and MM in voice and opera, respectively.
Career highlights include singing with The Boston Pops, The National Symphony Orchestra, Sarasota Opera, and Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. He's currently a full-time faculty at the Berkshire Hills Music Academy in South Hadley, MA, training musically-gifted adults with special needs. He is also adjunct voice faculty and choral coach at Deerfield Academy, and serves as the Minister of Music at St. Paul's Church in Palmer, MA. Hunter and his husband Marc reside in western Massachusetts with the two houseplants, Nadya and Steve.
